For those who visit regularly, don't be alarmed.  We had to redo the site styling due to software upgrades that broke the last template.  The How-To's got messed up also so they will have to be reformatted too.  This is a work in process and will be done...eventually.

Shortly after creating an account, a verification email is sent to the email address you provide.  This is automatic and ALWAYS happens.  If you didn't get the verification email, one of two things happened:

1. Your host uses over-aggressive spam measures and all or most automated responses from websites get sent to spam.
2. Your host blocked the email and it didn't even get to you or your spam folder.

If you do not click on the link in the verification email sent to you, your account will not be activated and you will not be able to login and enjoy all that this site has to offer.  This is an automated process and 5th Grader simple - don't ask us to hold your hand.

More fun for April 2017.  Outlook.com and Gmail.com have begun blocking our emails also.  This along with att.net, ameritech.net, bellsouth.net, flash.net, nvbell.net, pacbell.net, prodigy.net, sbcglobal.net, snet.net, swbell.net, wans.net. Hotmail and Yahoo generally trash or flag as spam automated responses from websites.  Questions about why you didn't get your verification email will go unanswered.

Also, mindspring.com people (and others) - if you are using the (assinine) auto-reply that asks that a reply email be sent to your email account to add the recipient to your approved sender list, do NOT expect to get a reply.  You can manually add us to your approved senders - admin @ jeepslimited . com (no spaces).

NEW:  We are now trying Gmail servers for sending our mail to see if this improves anything.

Lastly, we don't delete user accounts, the site is not your personal help desk for specific questions and no, we won't be buying paper FSM's and scanning them or converting CD ISO files to PDF's.  We will host donated files as we always have.  Contact us if you have any files that the Jeep community could use.

If you feel that you absolutely must have your account deleted, a $25 Paypal donation is required - no exceptions.  Add a note to your donation stating your username to be removed.

There are many discussion forums available for gathering info on your favorite Jeep.  We've all participated in quite a few of them over the years - the latest level of sophistication is a quantum step forward from where we were only a few short years ago. With this proliferation of forums, getting the appropriate information is generally a quick search away.  There are some caveats to this however. 

Due to the size of many of the best forums available, you may find yourself sifting through many long threads riddled with off-topic comments before finding the most suitable answer to your inquiry.  Then there's the newbies - with the popularity of Jeeps, there are more and more younger drivers hitting the forums.  They've grown up on the web and aren't afraid to ask questions...a lot of questions...over and over again.  We've opted for a different approach. 

• There will be no general discussion forum on this site.  Seriously, do we honestly need ANOTHER Jeep forum? The model of this site is to provide information that is easily searchable. 
  
  We are publishing writeups submitted by our members as well as soliciting authors of good writeups we come across.  We were considering adding a commenting system, but quite frankly that's just another headache to admin.  We will take corrections and additions to articles via email.
  
  If you have an article to contribute, contact us.  Any contributing author will certainly get full credit for their article!  We've begun to publish the writeups - have a look at the menu bar for more info.

• We've compiled a nice downloads section.  This section is constantly evolving and contains many useful documents.  Instead of Googling the universe and sifting through all of the search results, we keep all of our downloads well organized and in one place.  These files were donated to the cause by numerous JeepsUnlimited.com and JeepForum.com members for your use.
